Fabricator / Sub Assembler

Job Description:
  • Familiarity with reading blueprints and drawings, be able to take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
  • Knowledge and experience operating saws, notchers, milling machines, drill presses, punches and hand tools are a must.
  • Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
  • Follow health and safety protocols and communicate with team members.
  • Ability to lift and manipulate large metal objects.
  • Requires basic computer skills.
  • Ability to stand, crouch, and occasionally lift heavy equipment.
  • Must be a dedicated team player.
  • Assembling and testing all manufactured products prior to being shipped to the customer.
  • Participate in continual training and development.
  • Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized workspace or assembly station.
  • Assisting other assembler when required.
  • Additional related duties that may be requested from time to time by our VP-Plant Manager and our Assistant Shop Manager.
Experience:

Must have at least 5 years of experience in curtainwall fabrication
